David Hull passed away Wednesday morning after a long illness.
He was an eminent philosopher of science, one of the pioneers of contemporary philosophy of biology as well as HOPOS-type scholarship with his work on Darwin's views on scientific method.

The discussion follows-up on the "Varieties of Empathy in Science, Art, and Culture" Workshop at UBC Oct. 10-11, 2009.
